Metallographic Magnetic System: Honway’s magnetic conversion method belongs to a 1+N magnetic rapid conversion system. It consists of one magnetic disk combined with multiple anti-sticking disks, achieving rapid conversion of different polishing media. It can realize magnetic upgrading of traditional hoop-type polishing machines.

- This system enables your existing polishing machine’s aluminum work plate (base) to have strong magnetism. The high-quality adhesive backing ensures a tight bond between the magnetic grinding disc, polishing pad, and the polishing machine’s aluminum work plate (base).
- Clean any residual glue, oil, or foreign substances from the surface of the aluminum plate on the polishing or pre-grinding machine. Then, use the adhesive backing on the underside of the magnetic disc (Magnetic PSA backed Disc) to attach it to the user’s aluminum plate, eliminating the need for traditional clamps and improving work efficiency.

1. Product advantages
- Strong Magnetic Adsorption: By installing a strong magnetic disc on the grinding and polishing plate of the machine, the machine instantly gains strong magnetic attraction capabilities.
- Cost-Saving on Consumables: The metallographic sandpaper or polishing cloth adhered to the anti-stick disc can be reused multiple times without deformation until it can no longer be used.
- Equipment Cost Savings: With just one machine equipped with a grinding and polishing plate, all grinding and polishing processes can be easily switched.
2. Precautions
- For optimal flatness, avoid sticking any labels or similar items to the bottom of the disc to prevent affecting workpiece flatness.
- The contact surface between the magnetic disk and the machine must be kept very flat, clean, and dry to avoid affecting the flatness of the workpiece.
- After use, carefully remove the pad, rinse with water, and let it air dry.
- Do not bend or damage the magnetic disc.
- When installing or removing, do so carefully to avoid magnetic attraction pinching your hands.
- Clean any residue, oil, or foreign substances from the aluminum plate surface of the polishing/pre-grinding machine.
- Using the adhesive backing on the underside of the magnetic disc (Magnetic PSA backed Disc), the magnetic disc can be adhered to the user’s current aluminum plate, eliminating the traditional clamping method and improving work efficiency.
