Metallographic Magnetic System: Honway’s magnetic conversion method belongs to a 1+N magnetic rapid conversion system. It consists of one magnetic disk combined with multiple anti-sticking disks, achieving rapid conversion of different polishing media. It can realize magnetic upgrading of traditional hoop-type polishing machines.
We offer two options for adhesive disks based on customer needs: anti-sticking disks (Teflon) and support disks (stainless steel).
The metallographic anti-stick disc is bonded to polishing consumables.
- Thickness：1.00mm。
- Single sided Teflon coating.
- Adhesive-backed sandpaper or polishing cloth can be easily removed from the anti-stick disc.
- Say goodbye to the traditional fixing method of clamps and improve work efficiency.

1. Product advantages
- One-Second Magnetic Backing Transformation: The Teflon-coated anti-stick disc is a crucial component of the magnetic conversion device, allowing for easy switching between different grit adhesive sandpapers and various materials of adhesive polishing cloths
- Easy Removal Without Residue: Sandpapers or polishing cloths with adhesive can be easily removed from the anti-stick disc without leaving behind any sticky residue. This enhances the precision and reliability of the grinding and polishing process.
- Cost-Saving on Consumables: The metallographic sandpaper or polishing cloth adhered to the anti-stick disc can be reused multiple times without deformation until it can no longer be used.
2. Precautions
- For optimal flatness, avoid sticking any labels or similar items to the bottom of the disc to prevent affecting workpiece flatness.
- The contact surface between the anti-stick disc and the machine must be kept very flat, clean, and dry to avoid affecting the flatness of the workpiece.
- After use, carefully remove the pad, rinse with water, and let it air dry.
- Please do not bend or damage the anti-stick disc.
- When installing or removing, do so carefully to avoid magnetic attraction pinching your hands.
- To maintain high-quality polishing results, please do not bend the adhesive disc when placing or removing it.
- When adhering, please stick it to the Teflon-coated surface.
- To protect the coating on the non-stick pad, do not strike the coating with hard or sharp objects.
