Nitrates

Nitrate of rare earth elements.

Rare earths and nitric acid can generate corresponding nitrate, rare earth nitrate solubility in water is very large, and will increase with the rise in temperature, but also soluble in ethanol, acetone and ether and so on. Rare earth nitrates are easily decomposed by heat, releasing oxygen and nitrogen oxides, generating alkali salts, and finally turning into rare earth oxides.
